Presently this poll is 22-1 in favour of YES over NO, but doesn't it just demonstrate that all we have left as STHs is the hardcore 4,000?

It is likely we'll be starting at Falmer in this division, and it has been said by the club we'll need 12,000 to break even, therefore the first objective must be to recover the 2,000 season ticket holder lost over the last couple of years.

Only ask because I had a season ticket for 5 years, gave it up last year and doubt I'll ever bother with another one whilst tickets are available so freely for 99% of games.

Same here. I had a season ticket form the start when we first came to Withdean, but didn't bother last season or this as getting a ticket on a game-by-game basis is no longer a problem.

Well said mate, I know we've been chatting about this offline this morning too, but this is where the club has to fight the council. 'Condition of Withdean' is killing the club. A renewed effort to enable fans to opt out of this cost if so desired and see a reduced price (whilst still offering tickets WITH travel including) is what's needed here. We're all treated like idiots who unless we're dragged kicking and screaming onto public transport we won't use it. That's rubbish. Like you I'm coming from far away and never use this part of my ticket because I park in Patcham (outside the 'illegal' parking area) and walk down to the game because it's quicker. It costs me a ruddy fortune in petrol as it is and yet I've been forced to pay hundreds to network south central etc over the years for no reason. Plus I can't get to all games so that's money down the drain from my ST. Anyone with half a brain can see this isn't fair and unnecessarily pushing the price up. Radical revision of ticket prices is what's needed here. Not someone consistently giving excuses as to why it can't be done.

Absolutely. Have you written yet, btw?

.

I am unsure at the moment, but the reason is purely financial, I will do everything i can to try to buy the 2 season tickets i normally buy.

Plus, so far all the promotions that the club has run this season, like money off a new shirt for buying a Yeovil match ticket makes me wonder if it is more beneficial not to be a season ticket holder, especially as so many comments about dropping entry prices have said it's just bad luck on those who brought Season tickets that they would have been able to get in cheaper if they reduce the prices down to say £15.

The price per game works out at £17.80 which includes train travel from Newhaven and back (although I can get a couple of buses instead)
It is much cheaper than buying individual tickets even if the club put the price down to £19 per game.
Plus next season I get concession anyway so it will be even cheaper for me.
