think your Score first / Concede first stats might be slightly out? You have us winning 21 and losing 7 ... we have won 20 and lost 8 ... but it is not as simple as that as I think some of the other figures on that table may be a bit awry?

Also think some of your goal times may be out ... plus some of your player stats - Murray has 2718 mins for example, Wood has 1120 ... Murray has had 117 shots (not 75) Barnes 101 (not 68) Sandaza 22 (not 15) and Wood 59 (not 46). Murray also has 6 bookings (not 5) Sandaza only has two.

I see that you may be using the Press Association figures for some (most) of your statistics. They supply a lot of the online websites but the way they collate statistics is not scientific at all, and relies on a single person in the press box who often appears to pay only lip service to the actual match action.

As a result these are repeatedly inaccurate on their in-game detail (they have Bennett on only 13 assists for example) and they also regularly get the goalscorers wrong e.g. Painter OG instead of Bennett ... Taricco goal instead of Sandaza, Goalkeeper OG instead of Wood etc. (although I do not you have the correct number of goals for Sandaza and Wood - manaul correction by yourself>) Their timings (goals and subs) are also woefully out a lot of the time

Other than that though - an well thought out collection and still highlights some interesting points.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'll work on getting them up-to-date. I'm pretty sure the table on the left is correct (that bit is automatic, I do the other bit manually and keep forgetting then trying to go back and bring it up to date. It seems I need to completely overhaul that one.

It may be an error in putting data in, it may be because I don't include injury time, if someone played the whole match it's 90mins not 90+1 in the first half and 3 in the second. I'll go over it and check again.

How are the other stats compiled in a scientific way and not someone watching the game and making a judgement call? Times and shots come from espnsoccernet. I think some of the disparity is a result of some place including the shots that lead to goals in the shots on target, and some consider a goal to be separate from a shot. I also noticed this weekend that a shot that is saved and the rebound pounced on is included as a single shot.

I tend to use one source for the data so that it is consistent, so will stick with it for the rest of the season for consistency's sake, but if you know of a more reliable site that doesn't rely on a guy at the game/watching the game on tape making a judgement call let me know.[/QUOTE]
