Couldn't Pride and the Albion alternate every year for that weekend or something?

What for? Pride always want the first weekend in August; they have to arrange these over a year in advance. The Football League season doesn't always start on the first weekend of August.

In 2011, the club made a special request to the Pride organisers and Sussex Police, and last year they moved it back to September to avoid clashing with the Olympics.

The club has said that the Boxing Day game, if we're at home, will go ahead on Boxing Day, irrespective of the high cost to the club.

As the top seeded team in the Southern region in R1 (QPR have a bye into R2) we will be the glamour tie for the southern half of the country.

Seeded teams merely play lower teams - home or away - seeding does not guarantee you will be away - 50/50 chance.

Not sure you've thought of the practicalities of that. If the seeded clubs are in one pot and the unseeded ones in another, how do they decide which pot to pick from first?

Possibly a tub with some balls with paper in them saying "Home" or "Away", that would be drawn then its the usual ball number system.
