Not sure about Huddersfield for League 1.... I would say Forest.

Chelsea
Norwich
Forest
Northampton

Dunno why Forest are so fancied - its only the "name". They were utter cack all last season. They'll be there or thereabouts, but I wouldn't bet my Batman pajamas on them bouncing straight back. L1 doesn't have any outstanding candidates, but Huddersfield finished last season strongly and only just missed out on the Playoffs, and they've strengthened in the summer. Pushing it to win the thing I grant you, but at 12/1, they looked excellent value for an e/w top 3 finish.

I'm convinced that with Megson and his signing of 7 new defenders and one defensive midfielder, Forest will grind out promotion via a series of single goal victories. Won't be pretty, but will be effective. Although if DC continues to give away penalties.......

How about West Ham dump Bobby after 5 games, we sign him and win Championship.

John Prescott to have heart attack on Oct 30th, die and falmer decision be delayed.

What odds will you take for that?

Fair enough, its a good price. I just fancy Forest to win t as Megson is a good lower league manager and they have some players that would be good in that division- Commons, Dobie, Taylor,D Johnson, Curtis etc..

Johnsons a good player, but he probably won't be there come September - Megson said something about his wonky eye and they had a big falling out over it. Forest for playoffs I recks.

johnson turned to drink after his wife left him last year, hence his dramatic loss of form (also suffering a dramatic loss of form was the wall he drove his car into!).

I thank you.

That's pretty much what I'd have except Wolves for the CCC.

Before kick off on Sat I put on a £1 yankee (cost £11) on;

Chelsea 4/6
Leeds 16/1 (already down to 10/1)
Forest 9/2 (now 4/1)
Exeter 12/1

I havent bothered working out what it will pay out, but obvoiously I will be cheering on Exeter and Leeds the most, except when we play them. Chelsea are the banker, I thought 9/2 good value for Forest.

It is always worth putting on a bet like this pre-season as it gives you something to watch out for in several divisions each week.

That's what I thought but seems he's reformed- the assistant manager said he had worked hard over the summer and he scored at the weekend...
