Remind me again why Brighton have had 11 red cards in the last 4 years in the PL, while Burnley have had 1? ???

Because Dyche constantly intimidates referees meaning you almost always get lots of dubious refereeing decisions in your favour despite having some of the worst cheats in the league (e.g. Barnes).

OK, so remind me why Brighton have had 6 PL penalties this season and Burnley only 1?

To get penalties you need to be inside or somewhere near the opponents penalty area.

That said, dont agree with the guy you quoted, not really seen Burnley get any help from the refs (and not really the opposite either).

BHA have a few players who can dribble into the box, which often leads to trips and soft pens. Not saying its right, but thats just the nature of the game these days, especially with VAR.

Burnley tend to rely on humping high balls into the box and scrapping around. Thats always going to favour defenders.

How very true. You do wonder who the evil mastermind is in the background who is forcing referees to referee as if every player who falls over has been fouled unless it can clearly be proved that no defender so much as touched him. And if the foul is accompanied by enough of a scream the opponent must be booked.

Penalties aren't the issue. 13 goals from 21 games (the lowest in the PL) tells its own tale.

We have spent a lot of money. We've spent much more than Burney, if he wants to point that out he's entitled to. Don't think it's anything to piss you pants over

1) In Premier League terms we've spent an average amount of money.
2) Everyone except Palace has spent much more than Burnley.
3) He has pointed it out. More than a few times.
4) I don't know what pissing you pants is, but it sounds quite painful and I don't wish to attempt it.

Well done for proving something that nobody was discussing. Dyche said that we had spent a lot of money over the last two and a half years. The link to look at this period was in my first post.

Also that Planet Football article is from June 2020 and so actually misses out two of the six transfer windows to which Dyche is referring: The two where we spent the least money. If you go direct to Transfermarkt and put in the years 2015/16 to 2020/21 you'll see that we are 15th in expenditure for the last five years. We're higher for balance because our income from transfers is third from bottom.

As far as I can tell there wasn't really a "discussion" as such.

You wrote a lame rant while wetting your knickers because big nasty Shaun said something you didn't like.
Then you cried because some people thought you were a softcock who's desperate to be offended.

You seem very angry about nothing. I'll leave you to it.

Absolute bell end as per every game we have against them. Non stop foul and abusive language at the officials / 4th official - he’s a right cock.
