The curt club statement is an insult. Given the ownership on/off stuff, FFP, points deductions, transfer restrictions and stadium transition shit he had to deal with he has done well to keep them up for two seasons.

I understand the new owners have just taken over and don't want to be associated with anti-football, but in the circumstances he deserves some recognition of the job he has done to preserve their Premier League status. If the Friedkin Group had any class they would have insisted on that.

Overall, I like the club but my opinion of them has dropped and they're now firmly in the "I'd love to see them go down" bracket.

I didn’t comment when I posted it…was genuinely taken aback by it. Everton and West Ham have treated their departing managers like absolute shit this week. Shameful.

Another manager who didn't really deserve the sack. Doing a good job with limited players.
For some strange reason, I've taken to listening to 606 almost religiously.

Week after week, Everton fans ring in wanting him gone, and rarely has it got anything to do with results funnily enough. They just can't stand paying to watch that style of football week in week out, and who can blame them!

The most curious thing..
That official statement on the Everton website is horrific. Hopefully anyone half decent will take one look at it and decide Everton is a shit job. And so Wayne Rooney gets it and takes them down. Marvellous.
"Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche is relieved"

It is missing the usual platitudes of thanks for all the hard work during difficult circumstances and wishing him well for the future.

What did he say?
When baited about Dyche he wasn’t exactly full of praise.
He has a way of playing and left it at that. He then was obviously praising Franks saying what a difference tactically, planning, training.
Got the impression training with Dyche is running around a field for two hours and then launching a few balls into the box😂

For all his faults, I can't imagine Dyche would have allowed one of his midfielders to prance around the pitch in tights...

I have always been (and remain) a huge fan of Chris Hughton and what he did for us, but I didn't like his style of football which kept us up and got us established in the Premier. I think that maybe fans shouldn't get ideas above their team's capabilities
