Thinking of subscribing - never used it before. Is it worth it? Thought it might be nice for the last month, particularly since the games are sold out. Does it offer anything else to the matchday experience except radio commentary? i.e. any live text commentary or stats in some snazzy flash, etc?

Yes, worth having if you can't get to games or you are out of SCR area. Be warned that the commentator makes every opposition attack sound like it's gonna end with a goal and that sometimes when you think the Albion are attacking you'll suddely hear that Ankergren has put in a wonder save.

In short, it's f***ing stressful and you'd be better off at the game

I subscribe and have always found it to be a great package.

Not just for live commentary on the Albion. You can listen to any game you like, so tonight you could listen to live commentary of Rochdale thumping SCC, whilst listening to Albion on BBC Sussex (on a real radio)…..if you can listen to two things at once - I’ve tried it and….eetz complicated!

Also you can view videos of interviews and match highlights of any club. Last night I listened to Russell Slade talking about how Orient should have won on Saturday on the Orient Player - using my Seagull Player login details.

I like it and as someone who lives outside of Sussex, I like being able to listen to games, and it doesn't really cost an awful lot in the grand scheme of things. On top of the commentary, there isn't much more than most sport websites like bbc give in terms of stats, text commentary etc, but they give extended highlights and interviews before and after every game, with some other videos too.

They rang me up last week & sold me a subscription until the end of the season for 4.99 which I snapped up as I had tried to subscribe before only to find it not accepting my debit card for some reason or another. Anyway I tried logging in but can't bloody do so which infuriated me & I had to follow the Sheffield Weds game on NSC instead.

I better be able to log in tonight or I'll go potty.

Check it out by looking at previous highlights for example.

I have found it well worthwhile for live commentary on matches I cannot attend and for the highlights of past matches which, it seems are there in perpituity.

At less than three quid a month (and as stated by a previous poster), giving access to other clubs interviews, past matches etc, I think it is definitely good value.
