maybe. i was on the train with my girlfriend. we were sitting on one side of a set of seats round a table, opposite a gentleman in the yellow skint shirt and a burberry scarf. he seemed to be the ringleader.

Hedgehog the hoolie ! Let's just say the scarf was "acquired" as a piece of satrical performance art. :D

We did offer you some port, by the way...

Must say I'm suprised we were spotted...

Mind you, there were 8 of us, with Burberry Boy adding the glamour...

When we booked the trains up you could not get a direct one from Liverpool to London home, you had to get a bus from Northampton. So we came up to Manc on the Midland Mainline (first class for £26) and then worked our way across and get very drunk in the process.

Speak for yourself. A drop of liquor did not pass my lips until at least 10 am...

And I did need to shop for cosmetics in Manchester.

It was nearer 0950!! I do not know why you bothered buying the cosmetics in a shop in Liverpool. Eventually somebody would have sold you what you needed in a pub.

I can assure you its not easy to find make-up to rectify my aging complexion.

I would have thought you'd unerstand, being a fan of eyeliner yourself...

You promised not to tell anyone. My looking like shite look (although normal for me) on Saturday was purely down to corporate do and drinking as much as possible because the Albion away have let me down too many times this year.

Must say I disagree. I think that the Albion, win or lose, is one of the more constant things in life.

Fair enough, OK, rephrase it to inept / gutless performances. Anyway it was the last game before Christmas so festive cheer was needed.

Either that or the photo of the santa hat will come out....

Will you two please get a room...:D
