Exeter Express & Echo 23rd Sept. main story on the back page, but not on their website;

'ALEX FEARS KEEPER BID

Exeter City boss Alex Inglethorpe is convinced he will soon face a battle to cling on to the services of highly rated keeper Paul Jones.

The rookie shot-stopper was watched by Brighton & Hove Albion spies on Tuesday when he produced another sparkling display in the 2-0 defeat at Stevenage.

Inglethorpe says it is inevitable Jones will become a target for higher league clubs as he serves further notice of his growing potential. etc etc etc'

I cant be bothered to type the rest in, but Jones is only 19 and has kept nine clean sheets in the last twelve games. He came to fame for his display against Man Ure in the FA Cup while on loan last year. I have seen him play a couple of times and is definately a name to watch.

The story has a colour photo, under the photo it says 'Exeter City manager Alex Inglethorpe beleives he will face a battle to hold on to young keeper Paul Jones. Brighton are understood to have sent a scout to watch the teenage stopper at Stevenage on Tuesday'

Serves us right for sending out spies wearing "We are spies for Brighton and Hove Albion" badges.
