Seagull travel in an email to customers has told us;

"Things we are liaising with the club about are:
Continuing to get a firm agreement on how and when the coaches will depart onto the main access road
Painting white lines in the coach park with zoned walking areas
Introduce a visible numbering system to clearly define where your coach is located
Ensuring that all non Seagull Travel vehicles follow the same guidelines we have for our vehicles
Obtain clear instruction from the Club that Away coaches have preference to depart over Home coaches. This is something we are trying to implement as I know from my experience travelling Away, the need to leave promptly in order to get on the road and out of the way.
We have a plan to exit from the ground, this is being discussed in the coming weeks and requires the Club and Sussex Police clearance. This is:
Lane 1 = Exit from Bennett's Field

Lane 2 = Exit from Esporta and other car parks at the top of the ground

Lane 3 = Exit clear for Buses, Park and Ride and our coaches. The traffic would then be stopped at the traffic lights to let these go through.

Lane 4 = Lane will be coned off from the traffic lights to the university. This will mean anyone stopping to pick people up will have to go up to the roundabout and then join the traffic and wait!
As I have said, this is work in progress but I thought I would let you know that we are trying our best to improve the way we depart the ground."

I can't believe the stewards allow people to randomly stop along village way to pick up and drop off. Some right twat parked his white merc on village way again blocking the road as busses coulnt get around him......stewards just looked on. Eventually two blokes ran across the road, jumped in and he then did a u turn blocking the road again as he couldn't get round

Madness
