Simple and stunning food of the gods.

I certainly enjoyed my lunch.

Esp as I had a diet doughnut, for pudding.

Scrambled egg on toast with the toast cut into small squares is one of my earliest food memories, courtesy of my nan...

It's cheese only for me as far as toast toppings go nowadays.

Poached egg goes on a muffin with hollandaise

My nan used to do scrambles egg with little toast sqaures too.
I rarely eat bread now but I like scrambled egg on it's own or with smoked salmon and plenty of black pepper. Eggs benedict is remarkably effective towards sorting out a hangover and tasty to boot.
I used to love a dippy egg with soldiers until Jan of this year. I was at my Stepdad's and we had a blazing row cos I went and got eggs as his were out of date, he was a warbaby and throws nothing out. He would not let up so as a childish way of proving him wrong I soft boiled one of his eggs, peeled it, shoved the week out of date lot into my face in one and threw up in the sink. So I don't eat dippy eggs anymore.
Poached egg on a savoury muffin with bit of rocket and pepper is grand.
Poached egg mixed into mash potato does a job too.

If they're scrambled they have to be slightly runny, with pepper. YUM!

About 7 or 8 years ago I shared a flat with a mate, every Saturday we'd wake up hungover and want a fry up. One week when it was his turn to cook he did scrambled instead of fried. Not a problem as it made a nice change. What was a problem though was that he gave me some barely cooked runny yellow shit which he claimed to be scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs should NOT be runny! You FREAK!
