Manager merry go round starts then!! 9 nil doesn't help but blimey they haven't backed him since promotion.
I know they had just had a 9-0 hammering but Parker looked shattered and was almost speechless in his interview after the game. No surprise the owners bottled it. I think he is out of his depth in the PL but will be OK at a lower level. Not sure if Tommy Elphick as a coach will turn things round, even if he did play for us.
It was that cardigan, wasn't it?
Agree. As an owner you’re looking for the right reaction from the manager, positive going forwards, caught them at their best, players working hard etc. instead it was a car crash of an interview where he basically said his squad weren’t good enough. I mean that maybe the truth, but you don’t ever do that to your players as their manager. They’ve had a win, they’re not bottom, they’ve just played City, Arsenal and Liverpool - he needed to be a lot more positive about them.
Definitely more to it than the results. I thought last week he looked shell shocked and his interview after the Liverpool game he looked broken already. Not happy with the owners and what he's go to work with.
Losing to Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool is hardly unexpected for a promoted team, however the manner of the defeats, 16 goals conceded 0 scored is alarming. His interview after the Liverpool game may as well have been a letter of resignation - I thought at the time he sounded a man already defeated.
Big Sam?Ridiculous no money to spend his main striker injured. Did the owners think they should of got something at Liverpool
Primed now for Dyche that’s about all you can do with that side.
