Very good player, European experience, unloved and unappreciated at United, complete opposite for his national team (who are actually quite good at the moment). If he fits our wage structure it's a big yes from me

Let me guess, you’re a Scot?

I never thought I would live to see the day when I felt so utterly indifferent about the possibility of signing a regular Manchester United first teamer.

We’ve already got a Scotch player in our squad…. Why would we take more than Eufa mandatory make us take…. I hate that ruling

It’s boring to say but I am going to anyway. He is not a DM where United persist in playing him. For Scotland he plays further forward and is excellent. He is no more a DM than Caicido is a RB. If the club want to sign him then I will overcome my prejudice and expect to see his Scotland performances.

United are weird. They sign the best young player in Germany and he looks pants. They sign one of Englands finest CB and he looks pants as well. There are a few more excellent players who don’t perform anything like they can and I just don’t get it. Is it the night life?

Let’s not forget Caicedo is a Man Utd fan so will really want to go there. I can see him being a great success there and make their fans eat their words. (And Rio)

McTominay, or SToms as he is affectionately known within the game would be an outstanding signing. I heard Big Heck the other day discussing what an outstanding leader he has been for Scotland in their reneissance. A leader of men. Would be a massive statement signing.
