In relative terms, it's miles easier to win this week than last time. Four races on the Flat at Lingfield for a start, two of them Listed. Could easily be a couple of hundred winning tickets, but there's so much dead money in there now that the winners are still going to be swimming in cash.

I have had a go on the scoop 6 for first time this morning - know little about racing but worth £2. One of my horses is a bit of an outsider to try and take all the spoils!

Ist one went down after the Ist race, next one went down after the 2nd race.

But to make up had a nice bet on According to pete in the 1-05 at haydock took 8/1 in the morning returned at 11/2 lovely bubbly.
