Schools Shutting Early Today

Seems most are shutting around midday today due to the snow.

Yes, I spoke to the deputy Head of Durrington First and Middle schools this morning, and they gave parents the option to take them straight home again, or leave them and review at lunchtime. I'd expect most schools will close at lunchtime, as the snow's not going to ease up.

School where Mrs hut works closes at midday and Minis has shut already at 10:30 so just needs to negotiate a train back from Worthing - expect to see him home around 16:00 hrs then !

I did my usual run from Lancing to Seaford this morning. Waited at the school for 15 mins, to be told that they decided to send any kids home that lived in W Sussex.

Result. Get paid both ways without all the dead mileage.
