Gus Poyet’s inner child (girl version) has a part in her school’s production of Oliver!
This has got me wondering if any of the great and good of NSC were budding thespians as children.
Did Lord Bracknell astound the audience with his outstanding performance as the handbag in The Importance of Being Earnest?
Will Nibble reveal how people gasped in awe at his magnificent Hamlet?
I think my dream castings would have to be Meade’s Ball and Stan Miguel in Waiting for Godot. Or perhaps Bozza as Napoleon in George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
Pray tell us the pinnacle of your school acting career (excluding nativity plays, we’ll leave them for a Christmas special).

At 11 Years I played Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at West Blatchington. Problem, ever since then come December I tend to use my opening lines.
"Put em there boy, put em there. Christmas, bah humbug."
Only The Mousetrap has been running longer than this performance.
