I thought he was decent, is showing an improvement which is only natural as he gets more game time in league matches. Had some good runs, some good play. Not man of the match, but not as terrible in the first half as some seem to be suggesting (imo, obvs)

Getting better with every game. Looks like a real prospect and will hopefully show the utter GOONS on various threads (for the 100th bloody time) not to write off our players too early. Maybe he will become first choice, maybe he won't but I like what I see.

I do agree, but defensively he worries me, I actually think he would be a better 'right half' than a right-back. When Duffy came out to close one their players down after Schelotto was beaten, he didn't have the nous to cover Duffy's position which was worrying, and then wasn't giving Knockaert any instruction when he had a player coming from behind him at a throw in. May seem a bit pedantic, but that should be a natural thing to do, but a season covering/learning from Bruno and working with Hughton, he is no doubt going to be a valuable signing going forward.

****ing awful first half. Slightly better second. Still doesn’t look like a footballer, first touch is very heavy and is incredibly one footed.

Sorry but absolute BOLLOCKS, he had an excellent game. Remember he has hardly played either.

Oh come on, be reasonable! - now that the moaners who were shouting that Ryan was sh1t and too small have had that moan ridiculed and put to bed, the poor lambs have to have another scraped goat, don't they. Schelotto's as good a random choice as any, wouldn't you agree?

Could do with a haircut though !!!

Nonsense! The best hairstyle on the pitch. Better than that terrible style that’s been fashionable for too long with the shaved sides and long bit in the middle! Worst style ever.

This.
Armfuls of straws being clutched by people today
I'm 2 for 2 in these (hopefully) 'right side of history' thread bounces.

Who knew not jumping to knee-JERK reactionary comments after 20 minutes of football, could be so beneficial.
