I'm going to say it - I think I prefer the Europa League.

It's refreshing to see relatively unheralded teams rather than Milan v Barcelona for the umpteenth time. Bilbao were rewarded for not settling for a 2-1 defeat or even a 2-2 draw. They just kept going forward in waves - an absolutely brilliant game.

Mind you, the two Schalke keepers had an absolute mare of a match.

Really hope they go on and win the Europa cup , they have been like a breath of fresh air over the 3 games i have seen them. Totally destroyed united twice and a cracking comeback last night

I bloody LOVE Bilbao.

A team made up solely of Basque players. Its a ridiculous achievement considering the self-imposed restrictions they place upon themselves.

Mind you, the two Schalke keepers had an absolute mare of a match.

We are still recovering from the loss of Neuer in the close season. We do have a promising young keeper coming through the ranks but injured currently. Going to be a close season of building from the back and trying to keep Huntelaar (rumoured to also be harbouring Lederhosen fantasies ) and Raul. Should be good for third and the money pot Champions League though, huge improvement from last season!

Bilbao are slowly becoming my little Spanish love interest. Their counter attacking play is sublime, especially their third goal it was brilliant. It would be a outstanding achievement if they can progress to the final and win it.

It's Barcelona vs Bilbao in La Liga tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how they do without much rest between games. Bit rubbish it's been planned like that for them as Barcelona are playing Tuesday night vs Milan

Fell in love with the team the moment I saw them take the game to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Sublime side!
