Apparently some of the free scarves that were free at the Manchester derby are now on Ebay, and it would appear that they are in United colours.

Respecting the dead, and attending a special occasion. My arse.

Let them play the 39th game. These people are not fans, they are parasites.

"73000 WERE HELD UP TO REMEMBER THE 50TH YEAR SINCE THE MUNICH AIR DISASTER."

Really?
Apart from the 1000 or so "un-opened" scarves that will be on ebay over the next week eh?

To be fair, the actions of one mercenary bastard are no more reflective of United fans as a whole than the shouts of a few morons at Wembley last week were of England fans in general.

There will always be someone trying to make money via distasteful means- look at that owner of the celebrity lookalike agency who signed up a five year old Madeleine McCann clone.

From Sky News site:

Madeleine Lookalike Agency 'Shameless'
Updated:12:33, Friday January 11, 2008

Gerry and Kate McCanns' spokesman has criticised a model agency touting a Madeleine lookalike for hire as "shameless and offensive".

Madeleine's double has been taken on by the Juliet Adams Model Agency, alongside doppelgangers of stars like Elvis, Harry Potter and Little Britain's Vicky Pollard.

According to newspaper reports, agency boss Shona Adams thinks three-year-old Kelsy Lynn Kudla could make millions if she plays Madeleine in a Hollywood movie.

Ms Adams, 41, has reportedly defended the move, saying "it's entertainment".

On her website she advertises child models from the age of '0 to 12' and tells parents: "Here's your chance to get your child into the modelling and talent industry - and maybe even launch a whole new career for you and your child".

The agency also says it represents "models with dwarfism" and "charcter ugly" models.

Watch what you say. Just because there are many Man United fans who aren't proper fans, doesn't make them all that way. My mate has been a fan of Man United all his life, and I met a season ticket holder on the train once who has history of the club since the '80s.

And we have no right to call Man United shit. Look where our club is.

Don't think anyone is slagging off Man U fans for not being proper fans. I think they are suggesting that the ones who are cashing in are exploiting a situation. But at £2k........I'll bet a lot of people would be tempted.

that e-bay auction is being disrupted by people who don't think the Munichabilia should be for sale... i.e. ramp up the price to something ridiculous and then refuse to pay

We don't need a "right" to call anyone anything, just because palace are above us doesn't make them any less filth.

We are where this club is, because of the fallout from corrupt people who mis-used and mis-directed our club.

Anyway, what does it have to do with anything - people here are talking about the moneygrabbers selling their precious commemorative material, that they got for free.
