you will have to get a double scart and the extra leads if you dont already have them. Plug your double scart lead into the back of the tv and your digi box and dvd player in to the scart box

Digibox SCART is pass through I THINK (only worked with them day in day out 3 months...)

Otherwise, get a fully wired/fully connected SCART switch. The cheap ones only pass composite (grainy) video through not RGB (proper) video.

It can't be done.
At least it couldn't on my mum and dad's bloody TV, which I only found out after I'd bought them a digibox, a DVD recorder, multiple scart splitters and paid for a bloke from the local TV repair shop to come round.
Not happy.

You might find that only one of these units will work as they are competing with each other for one input to your tv, if that makes sense. They don't appear to work intelligently and let through the signal that you need at that time. So if this makes sense, in conclusion, I don't think it will make any difference if you have one of these multi-scarts.

MultiSCART units that are any good have physical buttons to over-ride the "control" setup

1959 - guy from local telly shop is likely a plank. 95% of them rely on "Television" magazine to tell them how to repair a TV, new developments in the industry, how to fart, etc. You can always get multiple inputs in to one SCART but there may be buttons to push, ala 1959 oddly enough....
