On his day he can be great, needs a confidence boost, maybe tonight is the night! :)

Haha hopefully not! Haven't seen him play too well yet, would be pleased if he did start tonight. Can picture this post being bounced tomorrow morning though :(

If all of your players are worth millions and billions, how come as a group they are largely quite toilet?

Very good point. If all their players are worth HALF as much as their fans say, they'd be top 4 of this division, easy.

They're basing all their valuations on the basis of how good a player they are going to potentially be, not what they're worth now.

It is amusing isn't it.

Palace play a team of kids they've brought in on the cheap, sprinkled with a couple of journeymen, and the minute a bigger club like Huddersfield come in with a perfectly reasonable offer for a player who couldn't even get in their semi final side last week, and they're all squealing and howling in protest.

I wouldn't say that. But Scannell is probably worth more than that.

Anyway - keep clutching at the straw that all this is unsettling. We'll see soon enough.

Amusing, yeah. I laughed my frozen nuts off when Bolton bid us millions for a kid that came through the academy. Last time it was Moses, now Scannell. Next year it'll be Johnny Williams for a few more million. Laughed my bits off.

So did I.

I have an irrational dislike for Bolton you see and Zaha will simply end up on the list of also-rans that you lot loudly proclaim are going to be the next Zico. A bit like Moses and Bostock. Scannel for £750k may or may not represent a reasonable offer, but seeing as you lot believe your players are all worth multiple millions, I won't take your word for it, and instead just assume that this is the going rate for a substitute at a bottom half Championship team that nearly got relegated to league one last season.

Moses may yet prove himself. Scannell don't know.

And that hotbed of football, Sussex, has produced an endless list of talent to entertain you lot - Jake Robinson, er can't think of anymore.

I can't find anywhere where we've stated Jake Robinson is worth £20 million.
