It's a great venue for cricket. Perhaps approach Sussex CCC and see if they would be interested in a pre - season charity match to raise funds/awareness?

Maybe someone should ask the Pope to sign the petition (or fund it) - the Vatican cricket team played a match there last summer.

Nor me but looks like a drive to get the council to pay...bit tricky when budget proposals are to close children & adult social care services. Be interesting how much it would cost to relay the track and do it via (middle class) community contributions...
