People looking for a cup upset will be disappointed - the minnows go out, Cambridge march on.

My personal favourite.

Hope the horse-punchers aren't too quick to call for heads to roll after that performance...

BBC1 just showed the Cambridge winner.

I hope when they go back to the studio there’s time for arrogant Shearer to squirm.

My guess is a faux “well played Cambridge”, thus avoiding talking about the sportswashers.

I saw it online earlier :lolol:

Scrappy and much of Newcastle's own making, which is even funnier.

Fantastic result for Cambridge - hope they get a decent fourth round draw. I go and watch them quite frequently and they have a really bright young manager (Mark Bonner) who is doing a great job there.

I went to their game on Bank Holiday Monday vs Portsmouth and at the final whistle the Cambridge fans filed out of the ground and into the evening singing “Newcastle United - we’re coming for you.”

Mission accomplished for the Amber Army!

#nufc on Twitter is a joy this evening.

So far, I’ve seen that Howe, Almiron, Shelvey, Fraser, Longstaff, Schar, Kraft, Ritchie and even ASM and recent signing Willock all need to GO NOW.

Then, amongst all the angry ones, there are the excuses.

VAR ****ed them over for the goal.
They lost deliberately to focus on the league.
And my favourite one - they were rusty after their ‘enforced covid break’

On reflection I’ll delete this.
