Just press talk. They have a bunch of finance people running the club with no football hierachy. Their training ground is a shit hole and allegedly they use wheely bins for ice baths ! Can't see any serious players going there until the whole thing is improved really - from a proper structure, director of football, decent manager etc.
The suggestion is they will have a 'British' PL manager who in on the short term will steady them while they work out what they do

The new directors are all money people. They have no meaningful background in sport. It is more likely that a journalist from the Financial Times will have an understanding of any players that they would like to sign, than any football reporters. No football reporter will have been able to establish a meaningful relationship with any of the new directors yet. I would imagine that the new directors are not announcing their detailed plans to any of the existing backroom staff (as they are all more likely than not to be replaced fairly soon).
The origin of these 'linked in' stories is likely to be a combination of agents desperate to get their players onto the gravy train (so that they can take their very reasonable slice of the pie too), or simply uninformed speculation from a wide range of wannabe jounalists (.e. Fred from down the road who has 50+ followers on his Twitter account).
Clearly, all of the above is also an opinion, rather than verifiable fact - but I have no time at all for all these 'linked withs'.
Agreed. Apparently the Saudi owners wanted to keep Bruce for the time being……quite possible they’ll bring in a Bruce-a-like until the end of the season. Madness - he was no less likely to keep them up than anyone else that’ll end up there any time soon.
Fast forward to January…..could be all of same shit infrastructure, no clear strategy, interim manager, bottom three, paying premium prices for any players…….only moneygrabbing mercenaries out of favour at their current clubs will go there (but will claim they are ‘buying into the exciting vision…..blah blah’)

Interesting that at the weekend Boro fans were protesting about the Saudi takeover of NUFC....
A DEAL for a major Saudi investment of nearly one billion pounds into SABIC in Teesside has been secured,creating and safeguarding 1,000 jobs.
The deal, secured by Saudi Aramco, will see SABIC’s parent company inject £850million into the Teesside business ending months of uncertainty for thousands of workers and those in the firms supply chain.
The new funding will mean its hydrocarbon cracker at Wilton can be restarted.
The cracker, known as the Olefins 6 plant, breaks down hydrocarbons into chemicals such as ethylene which are then used in a host of further processes, and has been shut down for over a year.
SABIC have also confirmed that they will explore converting the cracker to run electricity, making it the worlds-first cracker to be converted to run on electricity, if successful SABIC will convert all of their crackers around the globe.
The investment comes following negotiations by the Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen and ministers with Mr Houchen meeting Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan, the global Chief Executive of SABIC, earlier this month at the Global Investment Summit hosted by the Prime Minster.
