I very much doubt it. It’s not on the ticketing website and I think it has only been implemented for Sunday games or when there have been specific travel issues such as the West Coast railway line being closed etc.

Shame - they need to have a regular additional P&R option. EDF for weekends ( can’t use during week) and Pyecombe for weekdays would make sense but assume it’s all about the cost

I'm not so sure. I remember a few Saturday games when EDF being open. Sometimes they leave it very late to let people know, though...

👍 Pretty sure it’s been used for Saturday matches before.

My input on EDF Park & Ride-

When its working its excellent and very convenient for me.

I wrote to the Albion pre season and asked them whether they would be running EDF park and ride this season as I had heard a rumour that it was closing. Their reply was something along the lines of - "EDF will only be open when the other 2 permanent sites are not both operating or there are perceived travel issues". I've deleted their email but I had posted it on another thread.

This season EDF has operated for Ipswich (Saturday game) but the University car park was closed and Spurs (Sunday game) when I assume a reduced rail service is in operation. EDF Park & Ride has never been opened midweek as staff use the car park.

On this basis I am guessing that for the rest of this year we may see it open for Palace (if the game is moved to Sunday) and maybe Brentford because of reduced rail service around Christmas.

It's very disappointing but P&Ride is a gift (FREE) and therefore it is hard to criticize the Club - but its not as though we are strapped for cash.

Sadly I think if EDF was going to be open they'd have announced by now (albeit I know it's been announced quite late in the past). By far and away the best option for me, and a piece of cake getting away after the game. Usually back there by half five. Lovely.

I think you are right - our only hope is that they will announce it after the last Uni parking spaces are purchased.

Yeah, I'll keep checking in the vague hope. I'm in an eagle-eyed WhatsApp group as well, who are always on the ball with it. Never failed to get it booked.
