i've had sky before but after awhile it was just a load of repeats you get them on the bbc.

but now i have nsc.

Satellite for me. Sky Sports live matches look awesome on my new 42" Plasma.

Had cable a few years back, and the guy who installed it looked at me rather oddly, and said 'you don't remember me do you ?' - I said no, and this lad who must have been in his early 20's said 'You caught me nicking stuff out of your garage a few years ago !'.....as if I would find this funny (Granted it was only bags of frozen food from the freezer). I told him to get out, and called the cable company who sent someone else instead.

Gobsmacked to say the least.

Front? Bah, the only reason that pikeys have dishes on the front of their house is that only pikeys get house with north-facing back gardens

my 3 dishes cover the area of 4 to 5 of the little Sky dishes you get in the south of the UK. But they're all hidden on my back wall....

No - one dish on house, two on sheds. Can barely see the latter two. Sure beats a massive twisted monstrosity of an aerial.

unfortunately not. french tv has gone the way of our own.

american cultural imperialism now means that i can watch crap american shows dubbed in french if i want to....

Sky+ - I almost never watch anything on BBC1 or ITV it all seems to be rubbish. Some stuff on BBC2 and C4 can be ok but wouldn't want to be without my Sky Sports.

Just the basic package on sky, keep thinking about getting rid of it, never watch it but haven't got an aerial on the roof anymore after it blew down couple of years ago. Have tried portable aerials but reception is pants. besides, can't sign up for a months worth of sports when Brighton are on the telly.

I'm such a cheapskate.
