SAS Who Dares Wins series - Efrem Brynin

Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere but the father of Brighton fan James Brynin who was tragically killed in Afghanistan, features heavily in the first two episodes.

Not sure if Efrem is also a Brighton fan like James was, but he comes across as a thoroughly nice chap. I recall a few seasons ago (Blackburn perhaps) that Effrem and his family were pitchside to pay tribute to his son, and other fallen soldiers.

Efrem's always been a lovely chap - he's been a friend for nearly 30 years. It makes me so sad to know what they've been through in the last 3 years, James was a fine young man.

He was incredible in the programme. gutted he didn't quite make it thro to the end of the "sickener" but bloody hell did he do well.....

Had no idea of the connection to Brighton/the club, but he certainly did himself and his son proud on the show - came across as the most amazingly nice guy. We were really sorry to see him leave during the sickener.

The way he talked made me wonder whether his son had been special forces himself.
