I echo that Tim. We went to visit her, whilst thinking of what on earth could we say to someone to knew that they were dying. We had no need to worry. Sarah was smiling and just chatted normally about the Albion, her treatment and even her funeral arrangements.
We came away feeling better for having seen her. It takes someone special to make you feel like that.

Her courage during the last few months was a testament to her determination in all she done in life.

A remarkable lady.

Sad news indeed. She was a god-send to us Seagulls in exile, and sorted out a ticket for my first ever Amex visit.
RIP and condolences to her friends

Very sad news, and far too young. RIP Sarah.

Like many on here, I didn't know her personally, but whatever part of the Country The Albion were playing, Sarah was always there.

As one of the small band of supporters who fought so hard to save the club, we owe her a huge debt of gratitude for the untold hours of work she, and the rest of the FFA team did to save our club.

My thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.

Very shocked to hear this, Sarah was always happy to chat Albion whenever I sat near her at Reserve games, or just bumped into her at away games or service stations breaking up football traveling, she may well have never known my name but was like many others, part of the Albion family that you can just fall into conversation with very easily. Its like she will still be around at those times perhaps just around the corner, far too young to be taken away form the Albion journey.

We have already lost two from the last bus we always took to Gillingham, both Karen and John also gone far too young, at the very least unlike them she got to experience the AMEX and the knowing, its brilliance in part was down to her endeavours and her passion, alongside the Albion family she leaves behind.

I was privileged to know Sarah for 30 years having worked with her many years ago and also lived nearby for a while. There is nothing I can add to the tributes already on here about her passion for the Albion but also for her sense of humour and as someone who was a great friend to many.

I have known through family for some time that she was gravely ill but it still came as a shock when the news came through this afternoon. PC BHAs comment about her wishes for being remembered made me smile. Sarah was a great administrator and planner and I know that she has made many other plans to ensure that she is not forgotten including her famous cake recipes being passed on.

RIP Sarah - another of the good guys gone far too soon.

My son said he had been on a few BHA away trips by coach and remarked on what a lovely woman she was. Sad news indeed. R.I.P.

RIP Sarah,
Your spirit will remain forever in each beam, block and blade of grass that is our stadium in Falmer.

Maybe the club should think of something more permanent to remember her by.

I'd support that, not sure what it could be though. So far only Dicks bar has been named, so there might be a few options along those lines.

Really Sad News. Have long recognised Sarah for all her efforts and support for the Albion, the real heart and soul of our football club, thankyou.

One of the few who stood up to be counted when the club's very existence was threatened which mobilised the many who got rid of the enemy, got the club back to Brighton and then to Falmer.

She will be missed.
