i dont usually like female comics but she is absolutely hilarious, basically says what we ACTUALLY think :D

I used to think female-comic was an oxymoron and that the woman in a line up always seemed a bit of a token. I could also spot Jo Brand's punchlines coming from a mile off.

However S.M. has consistently made me laugh whenever I have seen her on TV. Very funny and I would pay good money to see her live.

Saw her at a filming of QI.

She f***ing annoys me. Swore never to see her again, and bam. filming of Room 101 too.

part of me thinks how great would it be to have a bird like that but part of me also thinks it would be like
sleeping with your best friend.

I will keep that and you in mind if i ever hold her hostage.

For me, she has an annoying voice. Not enough to kidnap her and threaten her death, but enough to make me wince when i hear her shriek through her routines on tv.

thats just it
you can convince your girlfriend/wife to go having seen her on tv

then you get 2 hours of cock/fanny & tit jokes with the excuse i didn't know she was like that.

My girlfriend is Spanish and struggles enough to grasp the juvenile banter of a southern bore like myself. Watching her grow more and more alone for two hours whilst she achingly attempts to get the double-entendres and flange chatter of a Tyne and Wear squawker that everyone around her seems to might be amusing for me, on its own, but unforgivably cruel at the same time.

It's risqué comedy for birds.

This thread makes that point brilliantly, the likes of Roy Chubby Brown who makes cock jokes gets widely panned but SM was just talks about her "nunny" and eating cake. Both very one dimensional IMO but RCB is a bit racist and sexist and she is liberating for women so acceptable.

That said if you find something funny then you find it funny.

I tend to have a problem with female stand-ups, I rarely find anything they say funny - not sure why. It's not as though I don't find women can't have a good sense of humour - I think Sandi Toksvig can have a great sense of humour, but I doubt she could do stand up. Millican can be funny in things like HIGNFY, but her stand-up does not do it for me.

Quite. And if she hangs around long enough she'll become a one-trick national treasure a la Jo effing Brand.

Has anyone ever laughed at anything that woman has said?

Our Town Clerk in Seaford is a dead ringer for oor Sarah...and unattached I believe atm. She's not got such a good sense of humour, mind.

Wife and I went to see her at the Dome last year as, having seen her on the TV thought she might be quite good. Have to say we were very disappointed. Didn't laugh at much in the first half of the show so didn't bother going back for the second half.
