The will all be back, Molumby gets his chance ahead of Saunders
Is Saunders the new Houghton?

Kind of wanted Sanders to stick around. He looked a real gem against Preston. Good all-round midfielder. Some precise passing, and looking to move forwards.
EDIT: Can't read the article but will be interested to see where he goes.

He does look a real prospect, but he could do with a season at Championship level to see how he fares - apart from the Cup he's only been at League 2 level with AFC Wimbledon. Expect he'll follow the same path as Molumby; spell at a championship side and we'll see about integrating him into the squad next season.
I cannot honestly believe we are NOT looking at adding a striker. Seems madness. Every PL team has spent on improving their squads, we blatantly havent. It is very frustrating as it seems like another season of nice football but no end product...
I'm not surprised the club are saying they are happy with what they've got.
My guess is Tony is sticking to his guns and won't pay over the odds for any player.
Gambling that he will get much better value in January and/or next season.
Tony is pretty good at analysing risk.
No need for us to worry.
A Brighton fan in the Guardian comments yesterday called Molumby "Montgomery"
Another season of toil and struggle lays ahead. I would think the 19 other clubs have us down as a favourite to take one of the bottom three spots

"Andi Zeqiri will join Albion’s first-team squad, after joining from Lausanne-Sport."

Wouldn't it be better if Potter came out and publicly stated how desperate we were to fill a particular position? No agent or selling club would be underhand enough to use that knowledge against us in transfer negotiations
Bit harsh
Its just relative. He's still young and likely to be going to a decent Championship team on loan and performing well there. His chances to be a a week in week out Prem league striker or back up for us now look remote though. .
Only Potter knows that. What will people be saying if he scores 20 goals for Swansea.
I liked this from Potter speaking this afternoon about the transfer window...wonder if its in response to any posters on NSC.

“I think it wasn’t so long back we were talking about football maybe resetting in the middle of the pandemic and that seems to have gone out of the window.
“Now everybody is asking who you are going to sign. It’s just the way the narrative switches.
"“We have always tried to be responsible to the club, to the short, medium and long term of the club.
“We have done, I think, some good business in the last couple of windows to add different players to the group and sometimes you have to let them settle and let them perform and let them grow and take their games to the next level.
“Unfortunately that’s not that interesting, especially when you have got transfer window shows on and stuff like that.
“People don’t want to hear about boring stuff like helping people improve."
“They want to hear about who you are going to sign and the external solution.
“Fifteen minutes of fame, Britain’s Got Talent, that sort of stuff.
“We want the easy fix, don’t we? We don’t want to hear about the other stuff.
“There’s only a few days left and maybe we can get back to talking about coaching and developing players.”
League 1 level with AFC Wimbledon.
I could have sworn they were only League 2. My bad....doesn't bode well for the quiz league
Regardless of what he says publicly there is absolutely no way in hell that GP is happy with his attacking options, they are nowhere near adequate for anything other than another relegation battle. He may be happy to go with got he’s got but he would 100% want to see a new proven striker if possible.
Icy Gull - who exactly would that be out of interest?!
