Do you have any idea what a competition winner would look like in a PL team?

Seriously, I mean.......................
Any reason why you’ve made defending Sanchez such a personal mission and hill to die on?!

He was diabolical tonight. He won’t be Chelsea first choice for long, he simply isn’t good enough.

I never really rated Sanchez when he was with us & being honest he never filled me with much confidence.

Consistently for two seasons he was mistake ridden, not every game no but a mistake was never far away & it’s well and good making a great save one minute but the next a howler, that was Sanchez and still is.

It’s nice now to sit back and watch him do his super man impressions at corners and flap in a Chelsea shirt instead of an Albion one knowing we got 25 million for what is the most overrated keeper that has ever worn an Albion shirt.

Who’s the perfect man to iron out his mistakes, Ben roberts who was unable to get rid of the mistakes for years whilst at the Albion.

Thanks for the cash Chelsea! #robbed

I’ll have a friendly wager that he won’t be their no1 in 12 months time. Not because he’s shit but because that club and fans are basket cases.
Anyone at Chelsea in the league cup experienced first hand just how bad his distribution can be, which is ultimately why RDZ dropped him.

This.

The aim with limitless cash must be to match ManC and Real.

Sanchez is a couple of notches down from goalkeeping gods Ederson, Alisson and Courtois.

The ill informed retort is β€œthey make just as many errors”. They don’t and they’re brilliant with the ball.

My mind goes back to the Donny away game in 1997/98 when the chairman’s neighbour, who had only played Sunday-league football, was in goal. Even in a game between the two worst teams in yhe 4th division the bloke looked laughably out of place.

He looked even worse when we played them in the Carabao. Anyone suggesting Steele is a downgrade literally can’t have eyes.
Its very hard to directly compare Steele and Sanchez as their attributes are very different.

It obvious with feet and passing Steele is miles better, I reckon most would choose Steele in a penalty shootout too.

But with the gloves, catching and shot stopping. Even with the odd gaff, I think Sanchez was better personally.

That said, same as Potter, I'm enjoying watching him balls up at Chelsea. He clearly rates himself beyond his actual level.
