Bunch of weedy little snowflakes, man up and get on with the game. I'd be fuming if we walked off the pitch when leading a game thus forfeiting the result, I suspect many on here would also be but wouldn't admit it so will tow the 'woke' line.

There are more important things in life than winning a game of football.

If one of our players was being abused, whether that be racist, homophobic or anything else, and the team chose to walk off en masse in support of them, I would 100% support that whether we were winning or losing at the time, and I think the majority of our fanbase would too.

Nothing to do with being 'woke', everything to do with being a decent, empathetic human being who cares about the people around you and is willing to back that up with actions, not just words.

Perhaps you need to chill out again - maybe go to the Beach and see if you can spot a Seagull or two.

People are getting upset about your post merely because it shows you up as a small minded dinosaur, lacking in human empathy.

Personally though I just can't see past 'tow the line'.
FFS.

Perhaps he was thinking of this...?

True, I remember Chris Ramsey making his debut for the Albion at Selhurst in 1981, some of our top boys gave him encouragement by throwing bananas and making monkey noises.

Do it today and you'll get nicked by the humourless Old Bill for being a racist, clearly don't understand a bit of bantz.

Game's gone if you ask me.

Mate, you've posted from the wrong account again  :lolol:

In my experience it's always people who use the word "snowflake" who seem the most bothered... almost offended even... by things which have absolutely nothing to do with them.

Quite funny that innit.

These days, you get arrested and thrown in jail if you say you're English.

So sad that grown men can't hurl racist and homophobic abuse around anymore. All they're allowed to do is encourage and support their team.

Some weird snowflake suggested to me that not hurling such abuse is a sign of maturity and it was those who did so who needed to do the 'man up' thing. What an odd suggestion.

Would it be OK for the players to walk off if we were losing?*

What would the opposition have to do to justify us walking off in a winning position? What do you consider unforgiveable?

* (still not convinced you're actually part of "we", by the way...)

No it would not be ok for us to walk if we were losing, I would consider it to be pathetic behaviour. Deal with it for 50k a week. I never want to see us walking off the pitch for any reason.

Where was the faux outrage on here when Harry Kane was subjected to 'he speaks like a mong' chants last season? I didn't see one thread of condemnation over it? Is this because as a hetrosexual white guy getting abuse he's not a fashionable cause? What would've have been the reaction on here if Spurs had walked off when 3-0 down saying 'not prepared to be the subject of such abuse.' I can't imagine a very favourable response to it on here.

I spent a week in the slammer for saying 'Come on, England' during the last one day international. There were loads of us in there.

As the father of kids with 'disabilities' I would have been impressed had they taken this stand.

Out if interested what is the threshold of earning to put up with abuse while trying to do your job? $5000 a week? 2500? 1000?

Sadly, everyone bends over to the gays these days, not least the liberal lefty woke snobs that run this board.

It's at it's worst during Pride. Cars dumped everywhere and then they're all over me when I'm trying to ticket them, just because I'm wearing a peaked cap and have an interesting smell.

It's that sort of thing I go to football to get away from.

Anyway, you carry on digging, son.

Now let's see a team (or teams) walk off when they are racially abused.

This raises awareness and lets people know it won't be tolerated.

What when we were 3-0 up?? Really? Amazing how not one thread on here condemning the abuse Harry Kane got at the Amex, but one on a gay footballer? Why is this?
