Chelsea got off to a poor start because Ballack and Shevchenko took time to settle. Now that they've both bedded in Chelsea are keeping pace with Man Utd, they've beaten Arsenal in the League Cup, should reach the FA cup Final and are progressing well in the Champions League.

Mourinho deserves credit for keeping them focused. Personally, I don't like him but there is no doubt he is a great manager and I think Chelsea will struggle to appoint a replacement anywhere near as good as him.

Agreed. It took Drogba a season to adapt to the 'English game' and look how well he has done this season.

I suspect that Chelsea will go for Hiddink. After all, I believe Roman was integral in getting him tied up with Russia - possibly to keep him away from the FA.

good deal for barca. robben is class.

chelsea however are in danger of turning in to what real madrid have turned too. big club with big individuals who don't play as a team

How is it a good deal for Barca. They get rid of the only real striker on their books and sign a winger :shootself

His injury this season must surely have shown everyone at Barca that Eto'o is one player they can't ever let go.
