Thought the S2 was a great phone. Not been impressed with Samsung since then so switched to HTC and now have an LG G5 which is really good.

It's not all Samsung vs Apple in the phone market. This will help other Android phone manufacturers too as loads of Samsung customers who would never buy an iPhone will look elsewhere.

I've got Huawei's last year's nexus, the 6p and I absolutely love it. Even if i had the money to upgrade to a pixel, I wouldn't. It's a terrific bit of kit.

I bought the Y330 (a low end model) 2 years ago and it's certainly done the job for me,as well as being ridiculously cheap at around 60 quid. I even had someone point a gun at me through the car window to try and get me to hand it over (quite a common occurrence in parts of Jo'burg unfortunately).

I'm largely impartial now. I think the iOS lead over Android has all but gone and think all the flagship phones are excellent devices that can do all most of us want and more besides.
