We have scored 10 goals in our last 3 games against league one opposition despite one of our 1st choice strikers has been missing in each of these games.
Why the hell do you think we need to now play a young inexperienced striker now????

this thread would have been understandable two weeks ago when we went out with a lone striker who is a CENTRE BACK

now though, its pretty clear that scoring isnt our problem

Adams won't play anyone that Wilkins developed unless he has to (Elphick, Virgo excepted). Sullivan, Cox, Robinson, Fraser, El Abd, Gatting, Lynch, Rents, Fogden, Gargan, + Loft/Dixon - either bombed out or only get a game when we are down to the bare minimum - what happened to the all Sussex born team?

Coz we're playing 4-4-2 with someone up front who is too slow and is not a striker and who would do a better job in his natural position as a central defender.

And Gargan has scored goals for the reserves and at Lewes - why bring him back from his loan spell if he's not even on the bench?

Have you not seen what has happened with Gatting and Robinson? Sticking a striker in there too early can have a bad impact on their career and scoring for the reserves definitely does not guarantee you will score for the first team. No doubt if Micky did put him in the team and he failed to score within 5 games, you would be one of the people on his back and criticising him.

That has to be the most ridiculous comment I have ever seen.

Sullivan was initially behind Kuipers quite rightly but has kept his place despite Kuipers return to fitness.

Cox had a drop in form so was left out and has now come back into the team and been playing better.

Robinson is not good enough and was hardly a regular under Wilkins.

Fraser is a regular on the bench (the same as he was under Wilkins). He is not good enough to be a regular first choice player at this level yet.

El Abd is the one I do agree on and it is a shame he is not playing more regularly but it has nothing to do with the fact he was brought through the youth ranks by Wilkins.

Gatting was never good enough.

Lynch refused to play when given the chance for the Walsall game and demanded to leave (not Adams' fault).

Rents was released by Wilkins so that is the most stupid of the lot.

Fogden rarely got in the team under Wilkins and has dropped down to Blue Square South so hardly proving us wrong at the moment.

Gargan is not playing at the moment because we are scoring plenty of goals so why change the forward line?

Finally Loft and Dixon were not through the youth team and were hardly regulars under Wilkins.

Thus proof that your comment is extremely stupid.

why on earth would we put him in now? gatting and robinson amongst others were thrown in too early with too much expectation and look where it has left them. gatting at sussex and robinson no where near the first team. we can't afford to keep wasting promising youngsters. we should put the lad out on loan for the whole season in the conference and see if he can consistently score for a team like lewes.

Oh sorry I forgot about that. Is this better? Adams has a vendetta against all Sussex born people. Therefore he is boring the Sussex born fans with crap football and not playing any of the youngsters except Virgo who he sees as some sort of immortal, God like figure so technically was not actually born in Sussex but dropped from Heaven.

If only he played Fraser in goal, Robinson at right back and Rents (even though he is not our player) up front we would be fine. Adams Out!!!

Also, we are going to ditch Falmer and start playing at Milton Keynes due to Adams hatred of Susses.

I think I have covered all the angles of NSCs current themes there but let me know if I missed anything out.

Your well researched response has missed my (not very well made) point which was that Adams doesn't seem to think much of the youth set up/or players he inherited. This is why he signed Hawkins (for Lynch) and McLeod (for Cox/Robinson). He's also borrowed Thornton, Fleetwood, Anyinsah, Richards and Johnson and is playing them in preference to the younger players.

As for Rents, ok Wilkins let him go but it was also Wilkins that let Mayo go. Adams chose to bring Mayo back.

and back to the topic of this thread..... Adams chose to leave Gargan out on loan when both regular strikers were injured, preferring to play Virgo up front. Wilkins blooded Gargan at the end of last season, he did ok......but Adams doesn't seem to rate him.

Rather than calling my comments Stupid and Ridiculous why don't you try and see my point.
