Did a job for us though. We wouldn't be where we are now without that great escape.

Agree with the first bit, but b0llocks after that.

Hereford, now that’s a great escape

All relative.

They were both great escapes.

Salde is an Albion legend along the lines of John Crumplin, so far as they weren't particularly talented but knew that and more than made up for it in bundles with effort.
I'll always love Salad to bits.

Kudos to Harry Kewell’s Crawley, he’s getting a few oppo managers the bullet this season

I still enjoy singing ‘Jonny Crumplin Football Genius’ every now and then. Just to totally confuse the younger fan.

Getting out alive from Millwall's ground in the return leg of the play-off match in 1991. Probably the greatest escape of all time.

What a night that was . Getting out of there in 1972 was also rather tasty to say the least and they had won too .

Agree with that. What made it worse was as the convey of coaches finally tried to leave our coach decided it was not going to start and the convoy and police escort left us behind. For 30 seconds or so the coach was in complete silence in fear as the locals began to realise what had happened. Was very relieved to hear the engine finally burst into life and the driver leave the ground at warp speed!
