It's nothing more than bad mayo made worse with a spoonful of sugar dumped in it.

On topic: my grandmother put salad cream on just about everything, including salad. My mother puts it only on salad. I refuse to allow it in the house. Times change.

Heinz and it must be Heinz original salad cream, at a pinch the low-fat variety is passable ... drizzled over a scotch egg or salad .. even your other half.
