I know, it is wierd. What has he got over Johnson?!

Just read my local MP Suella Braverman might be made Attorney General which is just incredible, she is a moron of the absolute highest order.

Perfect..... A compliant nodding dog

About time Dominic Cummings got kicked into touch, wields way too much power

The irony of people voting to get rid of ‘unelected bureaucrats’ allowing him to wield the power now.

Rumours are he and Carrie Symmonds have fallen out. I wonder who will last longest? Johnson isn’t known for his loyalty to girlfriends or wives.

Looks like he is of similar vein to Boris. Turns on a sixpence. Dominic will be happy with his set of minions.

"Mr Sunak campaigned for leave during the referendum campaign. However, he also voted for Theresa May's deal three times, unlike some of his fellow Brexiteers.

He was an early supporter of Mr Johnson in his leadership campaign and made a number of appearances to give his backing".

Married to the daughter of an Indian billionaire apparently.

A little different to Javid's more modest situation.

I went to University with her - her only redeeming feature was her mellifluous name Suella Fernandes, and she's even lost that now...

Rishi Sunak appointed Chancellor.

I suspect the rest of the world are saying who?

He's been touted as a future chancellor for a while; young, smart and actually has a passion for economics so I'd be keen to give him a chance, were it not for the fact that he's bent over for Cummings and I suspect will be severely limited in his ability to act autonomously. The overall lack of talent at the top end has made it easier for No.10 to push the land grab faster than expected. Anyway, good luck to him.

I would fully expect a PM to have with him a team that is 100% supportive. Unlike Teresa May who was surrounded by people that wanted to make her job even more difficult.

The irony of people voting to get rid of ‘unelected bureaucrats’ allowing him to wield the power now.

Especially as we had a considerable role in deciding whether what these 'unelected bureaucrats' proposed were transferred into law; indeed many of these officials were British. Now we have taken back control, how are we supposed to get rid of Dominic Cummings?

Including the present PM who voted against her deal three times.

Most of them are driven by ambition.

You voted him in. He’s accountable but you’re responsible for this chaos. Yes, you, the majority of the British electorate. Because you love his ‘personality’ more than his shocking record in politics.

A similar feel (albeit played out slightly less in public eye) to the early days of Trump (and elsewhere). An uneasy alliance of global capital (Javid's home team) and populist/nationalists (Cummings, Banks etc) coming together to put a figurehead 'useful idiot' into power - someone with little about them beyond the desire to be in power.

Now the wider politcal battle has been won, the real battle for control begins.

Nobody voted Dominic Cummings in (or Zac Goldsmith or Nicky Morgan for that matter). And I certainly didn't vote Johnson in.

He / they come with the territory. Those that complain about BJ now bit voted Tory are beyond contempt. A bigger list of warnings as to how he’d govern probably not been seen since that old Austrian corporal applied for a job in politics. Just goes to show how reckless and moronic people are. Even when it’s written down in ink, stating I will kill you/destroy you/lead you into war and oblivion...millions of lightbulbs go on in the polling booths aka ‘that’s the man I want to lead my country, tick!’

The public’s capacity to be utterly stupid holds no bounds. History demonstrably shows this time and time again. We get who we deserve.
