I don't think that a little friendly rivalry is a bad thing, and if rivals fluctuate then that isn't a problem.
I can remember a few months back after Southampton enjoyed a 6-0 victory (I think), that some of their fans were on NSC larging it up about how they were going to overhaul us and that they had wiped out our superior goal difference. It makes it all the more sweet when results go our way, like they did on Tuesday. Dream on Saints fans, we are STILL top of the league.
