Why should the Blue Square be landed with these financial wizards? They are football league clubs, and should be dealt with within the football league. So a team in administration should start the next season in the bottom tier, with the requisite adjustments made.............six up from league two, four up from league one, etc,to suit the circumstances.

Then see if big investors want to buy in to a couple of years at Spotland, the Crown Ground, the Withdean, etc and "championship" players want to sign away a couple of years of their short careers breathing life into "sleeping giants".

I don't remember all the clubs that have gone bust but are now well off, but Southampton and Leeds,Leicester(plus new stadium),Middlesborough (locked out of Ayresome Park, but now in a new stadium),even Bristol City spring to mind.

Yes,I know some have now nearly disappeared down the football pyramid...........but the "big" clubs always seem to wriggle out.

Not that Southampton with their third division (south) history should be considered a "big" club!

From what I understand all the debts were picked up and paid off the new owners, I never saw any mention of a CVA ?

Good luck to them? No thanks, the only people at Southampton I wish luck to, are the small local businesses that were shafted during the administration period. Many companies would have received bugger all of the money they were owed and now to rub salt in the wounds they have to read in the local press about countless big money signings being made.
