Christ, they will walk the league if they don't win it this season.

Best winger in the league, best forwards in the league...ridiculous!

That is a ridiculous signing, proper jealous. One of the best players I've seen in this league.

I hate the fact the last year they were in danger of going out of business, and now they are throwing money left, right and centre signing players - isn't that how they got into trouble in the first place?? It would be fairer if teams that go into administration were dished out transfer embargo's or at least a cap on what they can spend for a couple of years after coming out of administration. Maybe then they will have a more sensible approach to spending money

I said it on the thread when they bought the lad from Southend the other week and I'll say it again, I think it f***ing stinks. I'm beginning to hate these cunts as much as dirty L**ds.

They now have a new regime who are putting money into the club. Nothing ridiculous about it at all?

Good luck to them

Good luck to them? No thanks, the only people at Southampton I wish luck to, are the small local businesses that were shafted during the administration period. Many companies would have received bugger all of the money they were owed and now to rub salt in the wounds they have to read in the local press about countless big money signings being made.

Sorry, I couldn't disagree with you more. The fact is that both Southampton and Leeds both lived beyond their means........and knew it. The debts that both teams racked up gave them an unfair advantage over other teams that lived within their means.

The flip side is that this debt bubble bursts at some stage. However, do clubs really suffer? Of course not. They simply wipe out their debts, shafting businesses alike and start again.

10 point deduction isn't stopping administration. What I would like to see is FL teams that end up in Admin automatically relegated out of the FL.

Yes, it maybe painful for the Likes of Leeds and Saints to have to start again in the Blue Square, but if they have such support they will rise through the leagues again. Just like AFC Wimbeldon and Aldershot.

I thinks that the only way to stop, what is in effect a very easy option.

Back them for the playoffs this season - just remember if we get promotion before we get to Falmer this is the sort of team we have to play every week. Some way to go to be ready for that

Exactly.

I’m not sure I agree with expulsion from the football league but there certainly needs to be harsher penalties imposed by the FA. It certainly isn’t fair on the majority of other football league clubs who live within their means, pay HMRC, their players and creditors on time.

As already mentioned this stinks to high heaven, there needs to be clearer guidelines and rules for teams coming out of administration so the same doesn't happen again. Lets hope it all ends like it did with their cousins a few miles along the coast.

Its all to do with the old board though isn't it. Nothing to do with the new.
The new board were taken on by the administrators (i believe) and they have taken the club forward. Its like woolworths going down the pan and someone coming in and taking them over, its not the new boards fault. Blame the FA for their administration rules but not the new board for putting a quality team together.
Thats my take anyway!!

This latest vulgar display of piss-taking by The Scummers makes me feel quite sick - but it hardly comes as any real surprise, tbh. Still, just so long as the governing body are doing nicely for themselves..

The same will happen to Palace when somebody buys them cheaply. As I said on the other thread when I mentioned this last night I wish it was us that was in for him.

Doesn't look like Administration is a bad thing. Judging by the amount that Saints and Leeds have spent Palace will be after Ronaldo. Bit of a sick joke really.
