Unfortunatley Kev,places like Iraq need a ruthless leader to curb the violence of the different factions out there.While he was in power he had control over the affairs.Now it's lawless and it won't change no matter how long our forces are out there.The war was wrong on our behalf and we should of never invaded.It's very difficult to control countries like that but Saddam did with an iron fist.

He can be moved to a neutral country and held in their prison just like Milosevic was. Doesn't have to be in Europe, it could be anywhere.

The argument's just so flimsy too. It is illogical to give someone a jail sentence and then state that you are so unsure of your ability to house him that you will have to kill him. If you can house him during a trial and a civil war in Baghdad, which was his powerbase and where his strongest support lies then surely you can house him after the trial.

As for torture. Then we're no better than him and there's no point in pretending to live in a civil society. Dog eat dog, summary justice by the mob and woe betide the innocent.
