Why are black boots better?

With my dying eye site the only way I can identify the players is through flashes of colour, red= Vicente/Hamond, Yellow=Bridge/Lopez, Black=Upson/Bridcutt.

To be honest I prefer old fashioned black boots
But must admit sitting at the back of the wsu I find it very handy seeing the players in colour coded boots I instantly know who's who from their boots

Same as. From row V of WSU it's about the only way I can recognise certain players

I also had some Patrick boots - I think endorsed by Ian Rush and possibly Gary Lineker? My mate had some Juventus boots but that was 20+ years back. All were plain black with possibly a splash of red...
