Sad news

when my brother died earlier in the year and we posted a similar tribute on NSC we were overcome by the sincerity of the replies from so many Albion supporters. You have my deepest sympathy and your Grandad will never be forgotten because of the link between him yourself and football. Whenever you watch the Albion in future you will always think of your Grandad. There wasn't a moment last Sunday when my brother was not in our thoughts as he introduced me to the Albion back in 1969.

I don't know what you intend to do funeral wise but there is a garden of rememberance being planned at Falmer. I know this could be along way off but you may want to consider this.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I am very touched that so many of you posted. His funeral is next Thursday and by then both my sister and my wife could have had their babies. How strange life is, that two new lives could come almost at the same time as an old one comes to an end.

Sincere condolences, I am sure your grandad will rest in peace in the safe knowledge that at the time of his passing we say goodbye to one loyal fan and welcome into the World two new ones.

All the best to you and your family.
