Sacked or ...?

May have been already asked or mentioned but was he pushed or did McGhee do the decent thing and quit? The website says he stepped down which would imply that he quit and therefore gets no more money which be good of him and I suppose thanks should be said if that is the case

On SSN this morning when it was breaking news they used the term 'parted with Brighton' not sacked by. I must admit it got me wondering whether there was anything in the terminology used but then the Argus headline said 'sacked' and everything else points to him having been sacked.

I reckon he stepped down - i doubt he'd have wanted to go to millwall, with BOTH sets of fans on his back!!
