and for the record, I would take League 1 status than a day trip to Wembley.

Totally agree...relegation could mean missing out on a Div.1 containing Charlton, Soton, Watford, Wycombe, Brentford, Gills, Daggers, Aldershot etc.
We have to preserve our status above all else.

I hate crap comments like that. There is no reason why we can't do both.

This team is good enough not to be anywhere a relegation scrap.Luton bottom of league 2 says it all about Wembley.

21 games (not including today and just THREE wins, thats not a sign of a Manager building a team, thats a sign of a Manager who is failing at his job.

i.e. RUBBISH!

What i don't get is we got rid of Wilkins and he missed out on the play off's just!! And yet the board seem intent on allowing us to get back to league 2 without raising an eyebrow!! I mean surely it's time for Adams and the board to hold up their hands and admit they have got it wrong!! Lets face it, it's not the first time a manager has returned to us after doing great first time and then failed!!

We never just missed out on the play offs you idiot. We finished one place out of them, we were never gonna get in them or did we deserve too.

One win and two draws in our last ten league games - five points out of a possible thirty. That's relegation form whichever way you look at it. Can't see us picking up any more in the next three matches either. If we carry on like this we will only get 34 points which is nowhere near enough to stay up.
