Dont get me wrong i was cheering England on but i couldnt sit through Union games every week. It's like watching a bunch of amateurs play, no skill, no flair, slow.
Rugby League has everything..... except a decent International game sadly.

League is a decent game, but it's main problem is it's so one dimensional. Union players need a far wider skill set and tactically it's much more complex.

Well done England.
Came through after Scotland played their inevitable spoiling/scrappy/kicking game.
ITV's main commentator was biased to Scotland (hoping for an upset?). Every 1 metre half break by a Scot was drooled over. Every 10 metre break by England hardly caused excitement. Turning volume down meant you could make your own mind up.

I thought that as well. To be honest we played OK in the second half and despite the tensionI don't think Scotland matched their first half display. But it's the done thing to knock England and to say we scraped through. The reality was were on top of the group for all but 2 minutes of that game.

Some like Armitage, Foden, Tuilagi, Croft, had great 80 minutes.
ITV focused on some 'truely world class' Scottish forwards. Why?
Hoping England knocked off their perch?
