Also delusional if he thinks he can make demands like that for long term peace. Russia has been unable to succeed on the battlefield, so they want the land just given to them
I read (BBC?) that there may not have been anyone on the bridge...that would be the 'accident' set up.
A lot of people would pay a lot of money to watch that!
Musk is shameful, and so is Trump for not criticising Musk for his post...but then Trump (and Musk?) is a draft dodger, so Senator Kelly, AND Zelenskiy, actually shame them both. Hence the anger from the two cowards.

This whole "peace" process is like watching a four-way game of chess, with moves being determined well in advance.
Commentating on an individual move is pointless, as you can argue Putin's 'No' to a ceasefire may annoy Trump, or it may be exactly what Trump wants to hear.
What we do know about Russia is that interest rates are an eye-watering 21%, while inflation is at 10%. These factors mean business can barely afford to continue, let alone grow, while the only people who can afford anything are those on fat government war contracts or oligarchs. Meanwhile, the Russian death toll mounts.
All things being equal, the best Russian could hope for would be to keep the Ukrainian land they hold and have all sanctions lifted. The price would be a NATO-led peacekeeping force / demilitarised zone and a free and independent Ukraine.

Is this what Trump planned all along - trying to back Putin into a corner? Or am I crediting him with too much intelligence? If Putin doesn’t agree to the proposal does he replace Zelensky on Trump’s naughty step and US reinstate full support for Ukraine? Probably wishful thinking…

Really hope so. If Trump is even half as good as he thinks he is he should remind Putin he isn't really in any position to make demands. Ukraine also need to remind him he can't even defend his own country, mass drone attack again.

Sorry,we can't only have the positive news here. Russia (plus N Korea) has retaken Sudzha in Kursk,and Ukraine has withdrawn. Apparently this makes it hard for Ukraine to maintain much presence in Kursk.
Well, it was brilliant, but a shame if it's lost before serious negotiations. Never mind, keep knocking out those oil refineries and make sure the Russians don't come over the Kursk border into Ukraine
