He may be proven correct, but IMO now is not the time to be talking publically about war fatigue, negotiations, compromises.
It's stupid IMO to let Putin read such views.

NOW is the time to talk publically about supporting Ukraine to regain every km.
Privately the allies can say other things.

In my mind, I'm picturing a scene like the end of Godfather, or Casino, where lots of people are being dished out various violent comeuppances.

It's always been known that Ukraine would look to hit a general or similar in Ukraine using Himar's or Storm Shadow. But the knowledge that they can be hit in Russia with apparent use of assassination squads is a new development. And it shows Putin can't protect his own and if Putin can't protect them, why would they support him?
Or the scenes out of Narcos Mexico where the cartel is having a purge.....Sarabande is the perfect soundtrack!

Perhas he's got a lot on his mind? Just a thought............................
Exactly, so me talking about the weather or the breakfast or how sad I am for what has happened in his country would not be ideal. How to kick arse Russians is not something I know much about

If I had Vladimir Putin’s email address, if I had an opportunity to communicate directly with him, and try to sum up the results of his idiotic decision making, the needless deaths and destruction, the weakening of Russia as a global power and the resulting strengthening of NATO…

…I think I would simply write ‘Twat.’

I wonder how many in his inner circle (or even outer circle) have dared to say that. Probably zero 🤔

What the actual HELL is Ben Wallace spouting on about?

People want to see gratitude! Try having a few missiles aimed at your home cities Wallace!

The gratitude should be ours towards Ukraine.
think Wallace was expressing a view from US and elsewhere that the tone and insistance from Zelenskiy is wearing thin. he has been positive on UK assistance, other probably want some love and Wallace is in a position to note this.

Yes, it’s important to note a) he’s repeating what others in US have effectively said b) it’s the sum of the situation

No need for people to get angry. Save all that for Putin.

It's hard to show gratitude when your kids are being kidnapped, hospitals and towns are being smashed and threats of nuclear wipeout. At best, Wallace's comment is ill-advised or ill-timed.

The Kyiv Independent
⚡Zelensky meets Biden for talks during NATO summit in Vilnius.

President Volodymyr Zelensky and his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden met for bilateral talks during the NATO summit in Vilnius, Zelensky informed on July 12.

"A very good, powerful meeting with Mr. President Biden," Zelensky tweeted.

"The meeting was at least twice as long as planned, and it was as meaningful as it needed to be. If the protocol had not stopped the meeting, we would have talked even longer. All the topics. Long-term support. Weapons. Politics. NATO. We clearly see how to end this war with our common victory," he added.

Yes, and Zelensky has been doing one of the hardest, most stressful jobs on the planet for 17 months, without a day off, and away from his family.
The pressure he puts on himself is extraordinary.
He must be exhausted and sometimes shows some desperation.
Also, during his visits with countries and heads of state he frequently says thank you.
