Seriously scary place to be today. I stayed off the booze for once to keep a clear head because there was so much trouble. Had to go and cower in a burger bar where they locked the doors to protect us from the flying glass bottles being thrown by Russian yobs, tier gas from the police and random attacks on passers-by being undertaken by the Russians and the local French firm. We nearly blew the game off and went home as we seriously feared for our safety.

Segregation was poor to non-existent on the way into and inside the ground.
